A Hosted UniFi OS Server is a cloud-hosted instance of Ubiquiti's UniFi OS, fully managed by SimpliWiFi. It gives you a centralised controller to manage all your UniFi access points, switches, and gateways without running hardware on-site. We handle provisioning, updates, backups, and monitoring.
Servers are auto-provisioned within minutes of payment. You will receive your login credentials and adoption URL by email as soon as your instance is live. There is no manual queue or waiting period.
Yes. We provide free migration assistance on all plans. Export a backup from your existing controller and our team will import it into your hosted instance, preserving all device configurations, site settings, and network profiles.
You can upgrade your plan at any time to increase your device limit. Upgrades take effect immediately with no downtime. For deployments over 1,000 devices, contact us for a custom enterprise plan tailored to your requirements.
SSH access is available on the 500 Device and 1000 Device plans, as well as all Custom enterprise plans. The 25 and 250 Device plans are fully managed through the UniFi web interface.
We run automated daily backups of your entire UniFi configuration, including site settings, device profiles, and network maps. Backup retention varies by plan: 7 days on the 25 Device tier, 30 days on 250 Devices, 60 days on 500 Devices, and 90 days on 1000 Devices. Enterprise customers receive custom retention policies.
